Cloud Zebra is part of my On the Brink series. So far, the series consists mostly of small paintings and studies of animals placed somewhat precariously on cliff edges. Symbolism, you know. The Grévy's zebra, which is the most endangered of the three zebra species, earned itself a large canvas. I had to have enough room to paint all those thin stripes all the way down to the hooves!
Enjoy this example of contemporary wildlife art and Surrealism! It's an interesting conversation starter but also painted in such a way that it does not dominate a room. Instead, it adds a welcome level of interest.
